This is a card I made for the Haunted Design House Voodoo Witchery Challenge.. I actually did some research for this challenge and came up with this card.. the Voodoo doll and Goth girl w/ skull are provided by Stampitcrazy.. the voodoo doll is the modern day belief of voodoo.. the goth girl w/ skull represents Marie Laveau, who is also known as the Queen of Voodoo down in New Orleans, where she is also buried... The x's represent the symbols people draw on her gravesite and leave items ( such as candles, beads, etc..) as offerings for good luck and blessings.. had fun with this one :) here is also a picture of Marie's grave site in New Orleans..

  5. Hey Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing the picture and story with us. You know I love that part. I have almost purchased that voodoo doll but believe it or not.. I just can't handle that pin in the eye! Me, the Oz, squeemish.... go figure.
